Stride Tool, a growing global tool company in Glenwillow is looking
to fill two opportunities for our fast paced and growing
organization.
Manufacturing Engineer. A self-motivated Degreed Engineer with a
minimum of 5 years experience in an assembly and light-machining
manufacturing environment. Must be proficient working at all levels
of processes. Experience in assembly including automation,
machines, knowledge of product design, Project Management, hands-on
experience with Lean tools and techniques, Cell design, eliminating
waste, reducing process variation, Standardized Work, overall
Continuous Improvement, and have computer skills including AutoCAD
and MS Office. Candidates MUST be able to provide documentation
demonstrating their experience implementing lean projects and
continuous process improvement.
Working Team Leader. This is an hourly position reporting to the
Production Supervisor. The position will be responsible for
communicating direction from the supervisor, meeting production
goals, organizing material flow, setting up jobs; assigning
employees, insuring Standardized Work is followed, confirming
quality, process control, and on-going Continuous Improvement.
Hands-on manufacturing experience is required and Lean Manufacturing
is desirable.
Shipping Clerk - International. The Shipping Clerk will focus on
our international shipments, coordinating all facets of shipping
such as generating all paperwork for shipments including bills of
lading and manifests. The position is responsible for weights and
costs associated with each shipment, generating commercial invoices
for overseas shipment, contacting freight forwarders and ordering
the necessary supplies for the area.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in manufacturing
shipping, be a team player, pay attention to details, reliable and
demonstrate operating style consistent with our values. Previous
work experience with an MRP system a must.

fast paced distribution center team. Applicants must be able to
perform multiple job duties and work under pressure to meet order
deadlines. Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
a plus.

MACHINE OPERATORS
We have an immediate opening for machine operators for a second
shift operation. This position will require the candidate to
operate a creep feed grinder, assemble; file and line inspect
electrical tools. Candidate must be capable of working with a
partner and possess basic shop math skills. Must have reliable
transportation. Second shift hours are Monday through Friday 2:30
p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Starting rate of pay is $8.50 per hour + a $.25
shift differential.
