Lead Product Engineer
Saint-Gobain Crystals is seeking a lead product engineer for our Nuclear Medicine product line. This product line manufactures gamma radiation detectors for use in medical imaging applications. The scope of this job includes full ownership of the design and technical content of the product line as well as technical customer contacts. This position interfaces with production and planning to ensure consistent communication of design content.We are looking for a leader who has demonstrated excellent mechanical engineering skills in design and problem solving. This product line involves a large variety of designs that requires the ability to manage multiple engineering projects and product development efforts simultaneously.Requirements for this job include a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for product design, manufacturing and testing. The ability to use CAD and FEA software (we use Pro-E) and fixture and tooling theory and design are desired.We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefit package including a bonus program and 401k plan with company matching.
