NEXT MEETING: Monday, March 16th - Spiritual Gifts & Workstyle Preferences Assessments

Hi Everyone:

WE ARE MEETING on Monday, March 16th at 7:00pm in Room 201 at Grace Church. Because of the coronavirus outbreak precautions will be made to make sure the room in safe and ready for our gathering, SO PLEASE COME! Before the meeting we will wipe down all surfaces such as tables, chairs, door handles, etc. with a disinfectant, and hand sanitizer will be available at each table. If you have a bottle of hand sanitizer that you can share please bring it.

NOTE: IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL THEN PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ATTENDING!

Our topic will be Discovering Your Strengths - Spiritual Gifts & Workstyle Preferences Assessments. Both of these assessments are critical to your understanding of your unique, God-given Personal Strengths. It will conclude the Step 3 - Discover Your Strengths chapter in the Workbook. We will also talk about how to Summarize Your Discovery into a usable document for reference in interviews and employer discussions. We will reschedule this important meeting, if necessary, to make sure everyone completes all the assessments.

Going forward we will determine on a meeting-by-meeting basis if our scheduled meetings will be held and will notify everyone accordingly, so please check this Google Group, our Facebook Page and our website: www.gracejobseekersnetwork.org  for meeting announcements.

Our next meeting is Monday, October 7th at 7:00pm in Room 201 at Grace Church. Our Team will be conducting Mock Interviews with three of our member candidates in a real interview setting. Please come and observe the Mock Interviews to strengthen YOUR interviewing skills. You will be providing feedback to the candidates on what worked well and what you see that needs improvement in their interviewing skills all while you learn best practices for your next interview.

This promises to be a fun and enlightening session for everyone so plan on joining us!

This is perhaps one of the weakest areas facing job seekers. I have an offer on the table so how do I negotiate the offer details and the total compensation package? This is a must session for everyone in our group because you will have to face an offer negotiation for your next position, hopefully very soon! Our next meeting is Monday, May 6th at 7:00pm in Room 201 at Grace Church. Our topic is Crossroads Step 5 - SEARCHING - Seek to Serve. Fred Major will be leading the meeting and will get everyone involved in Networking Best Practices. Be prepared to share your 30-Second Commercial! We will put into practice all that we have learned so far in the Crossroad Program. Join us for a fun, interactive session!
