Our topic will be "Managing Finances During Job Transition" presented by Chuck Conrad and Rick Martin of Szarka Financial. This will be a highly informative session that promises to help all of us deal with financial challenges during our job searches and beyond. Come prepared with questions and invite a friend!

SPECIAL EVENT: Monday, September 17th - Speaker Marvin Montgomery

Hi Everyone:

We are hosting a Special Event this coming Monday, September 17th at 7PM in Room 22 (Lower Chapel) at Grace Church. Guest Speaker Marvin Montgomery will present "How to Sell Yourself in a Competitive Job Market". Marvin is a well-known Author, Motivational Speaker and Professional Sales Training Specialist with over 30 years of sales training experience. He will teach and inspire us to become effective managers our lives, careers and to sell ourselves for success!

Please invite anyone you know who could use a big dose of encouragement and motivation to reach higher in their lives to be all that God created us to be!

This is a free event and open to ALL! I hope to see you there - let's get "Marvinized"!

NEXT MEETING: Monday, September 10th - Back to School with Your Job Search

Hi Everyone:
Now that summer is winding down it is time to get "Back to School" with your job search. Our next meeting is Monday, September 10th at 7PM in Room 22 (Chapel) at Grace Church. I will be offering a refresher session on how to jump start your job search and get it back on track as we approach the end of the year. I invite feedback on your struggles, successes and any special search tips that you have used, and I welcome you to share them with our group.

Also, please mark your calendars for a special Grace JSN Meeting on Monday, September 17th at 7PM at Grace Church. Marvin Montgomery, a highly sought after motivational speaker will talk to our group on "How to Sell Yourself in a Competitive Job Market". Marvin specializes in training and motivating corporate sales teams to operate at peak performance, and I promise you will walk away with a whole new perspective and new tools to set yourself apart when you are engaged with prospective employers. We will have extra seating for this event so please invite your friends, relatives, neighbors, former colleagues or anyone else you know that can use a boost in motivation!
