I recently have opened a branch of an existing company in the Cleveland
area (Brooklyn Heights). I am in immediate need of an industrial field
salesperson and a plant manager. Our company fabricates and distributes
conveyor belting and related products.
Regarding the field sales position, the territory would include the
greater Cleveland area, with a maximum radius of approximately 50 miles. The
customer base would include food processing, manufacturing and a wide range
of industrial accounts. This is a new territory, with guaranteed salary,
benefits, commissions, expenses, auto allowance and SEP IRA.
Regarding the plant manager, this position requires organization,

Grace Job Seekers NetWORK

Hello Everyone!

I want to pray for everyone who got there new jobs. I do need some prays. I applied for an Administrative Support Clerk at the VA. I am also working on appling for a server at the Remissiance in Olmsted Township. The pay is only .50 more a hour then what I make, but I would have my weekends off. I am really looking for more money, but sometimes you don't always get the money you want at first. I just need everyone to pray that I am looking in the right direction for a job. I was just thinking it would get my foot in the door and I could move up in the ladder.

I recently accepted a position at Steris Corporation in Mentor (after being unemployed for 9 months) as Business Information Manager of Finance and HR. I praise the Lord for providing this job for me and now wish to serve him faithfully in my new role. I tried to put this as a blog, but I was able to post it, but keep me in prayer for tomorrow I have a job interview Feb 9th at Sports Service and Well Bread Restaurant Group at Jacob's Fields tomorrow after they are doing walk in applications/interviews from 1-4 pm. I had applied on line, and I would be doing like food service work! Although there maybe a ton of snow tomorrow, I'm still going for the interview!! Just keep me in prayer.

This individual will also be responsible for exploring trends, innovations and applications within the areas of Training and Adult Education, and will consult with senior management and HR professionals on major developmental initiatives, including the Succession Planning Management, Performance Management, and Career Counseling Programs.Specific responsibilities include:Working with senior management to develop training and development strategies that directly support the company’s overall strategic business priorities.Developing employee training and orientation programs such as personal development courses, personal improvement skills, management skills and techniques, supervisory training, technical training, safety training, customer service training, employee communications training and compliance training.Developing and executing a comprehensive training delivery strategy using internal and external resources, and ensuring the quality of training programs, materials and presentations.Maintaining awareness of emerging education delivery processes, such as e-learning, and incorporating these methodologies into the B&W strategy where appropriate and effective.Formulating standardized training and development policies, procedures, and improvement plans consistent with strategic business needs, changes in culture, philosophy, business model and processes, etc.Managing all training department support activities including scheduling, training and development needs assessments, the overall training budget, tuition refund, in-house executive MBA program and the Learning Resource Center.Developing and managing a measurement system to monitor the effectiveness of all services delivered by the department.Consulting with Human Resources on the Employee Career Counseling Program.Consulting with other functional areas on the delivery of technical training for Sarbanes Oxley, ethics and compliance, FMLA, boiler technology, etc.We expect qualified candidates to hold a bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Human Resource Management, Training and Development, or related adult education area. Qualified candidates should also have seven to 10 years of industry or related business experience in employee training and/or organizational development. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels of the organization are a must, as well as the ability to identify and analyze organizational needs, devise and implement a long-term strategic plan, solve problems, and manage employee development and curriculum design. Must demonstrate strong knowledge of training systems management, strategic business planning, needs assessment, design, delivery, cost benefit analysis and adult learning styles, as well as strong knowledge of employee performance standards, organizational development, project management, quality improvement principles, business process engineering and computer applications. Hi, gang, I'm an occasional visitor to the NetWORK, and I have a great praise to share! After 15 months of fulltime jobsearch, I have not only landed a job, I have been blessed with what the secular world would call "my dream job!" I start tomorrow in the sales staff with the number-one adult-listener radio station in Cleveland [source: Jan. '06 Arbitron ratings], WGAR, owned by the largest radio conglomerate in America, Clear Channel. I've been wanting to get into the radio industry for years, and when I interviewed for the job, I thought, yeah sure, like I'm gonna be hired by Clear Channel! I'd interviewed with other smaller-scale radio stations and they were looking for radio sales experience, so I figured Clear Channel is surely looking for radio experience. Anyway, I met WGAR's sales manager at a job fair at Tri-C metro last April [surprise, surprise, results do come out of going to job fairs!], we started talking, we hit it off, and he invited me in to interview. He said all he had was entry-level, and wished he could offer me more. However, I was diligent in leaving a voice mail to him once a month to let him know that I was still interested in working there, though I veered my the tone of the messages toward getting something more than just entry-level wages, with my extensive sales background. Then, a couple days after Christmas [yes, six month later! Some Christmas present, huh?] he calls me and said that after reviewing everyone he'd met over the last few months, my resume kept floating to the top and his impression of me stuck out more than the others! Although he still had just an entry level position, he felt perhaps I ought to consider it, and with my sales experience, he'd approach his general manager to see if they could sweeten the entry-level initial salary. There were two weeks of waiting, as the sales manager had to jump through EEO hoops and had to leave town for personal time, but he called me a week ago and gave me a verbal offer, and the initial salary he offered is 25% more than the standard-rate entry-level salary! Eventually,I'll be steered toward becoming commission against draw, but I have total confidence in my manager's training and coaching, the strength of working for Clear Channel and the number-one station in town, and moreover, the power of God helping me to succeed. I truly believe that the Lord led me to this position, not only because it's something that I've wanted to do, but I certain He wants me to be a beacon for Christ in this arena. I'm certain God will lead me to success. I'm excited yet humbled that God has granted me this opportunity. I ask you now for prayers for blessings, quick learning, a quick ramp-up and financial and spiritual success. Thank you Jim, and everyone else out there in the NetWORK who were led to pray for me at one time or another. In closing, keep this in mind as you strive toward what God has planned for you [which will also be circulating through my mind as I start this new chapter in my life]: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me [Philippians 4:13].
