General Manager, IT Technology - Cleveland - Financial
Our client, Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, is one of the nation's largest financial holding companies. Its core businesses include commercial and retail banking, mortgage financing and servicing, consumer finance and asset management. They are looking for talented comp persons to staff a changing organization. Excellent base, bonus and options…..Relocation available.You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of technology assets from concept through support and maintenance, focusing on the development and deployment of reusable applications, including: middleware, EAI, portal, rules engines, business information, electronic document management. Functional responsibilities include project management, business analysis, architecture and application development. Additional responsibilities include planning and execution of the multi-year IT technology strategy. The General Manager of IT Technology participates as a member of the National City IT Leadership team.Specifically responsible for over 100 staff (mix of employees and contractors), with 6-7 direct reports; additionally, manages a budget of $15 to $20 million annually.Initial Expectations:Develop a capability assessment and future vision plan designed to achieve technology strategy. (.Net and J2EE competency building)Effective, active and ongoing people management. Early expectations include staff competency assessment, creation of individual development plans, performance management, and talent acquisition/retention.Gain respect from technology community by demonstrating breadth and depth of technical expertise.Gain respect from lines of business by demonstrating how the technology applies and supports their diverse objectives.Actively support the use of NCC IT’s Common Way processesIdeal Key Candidate Attributes:Engineering Degree preferredExecutive presence – the ability to operate as a member of the IT executive team.Leader and coach - the ability to instill a supportive and developmental culture within the teamTechnical Project Management experience. –
