Production Manager

I have an Immediate opening for a Production / Scheduling manager for Zion Industries in Valley City, Ohio.

I have been the plant manager at Zion for over a year and I am hiring a leader/manager to lead my production floor efforts. The candidate will posses strong skills in communications, team building, managing multiple priorities; can multitask, and has a winning, can-do, contagious attitude.

Position Requirements:
1. Bachelor of Science degree in business or engineering-related or equivalent work experience.
2. Must have previous production management and/or production scheduling experience.
3. Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
4. Must be able to champion and achieve results using high performance work systems.
5. Must have proven organizational, follow-up, communication, training and technical skills.
6. Must have a successful history of the development of front-line leaders.
7. Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects varying in scope and complexity.
8. Ability to lead project teams and task teams. 9. Ability to mentor, train, and develop people.
10. Ability to troubleshoot process problems.
11. Computer experienced with Microsoft office (ie Word, Excel, Power Point)
12. Promotable to Plant Manager in 3-5 years.

Competative base salary with full benefits including 401K with company match, dental, medical, eyecare, sort & long term dissability.

Base Salary range is $50 - 55,000. There is a bonus program based on overall facility performance.
