Director of Sales

I am conducting a search for a Director of Sales; the person must have consumer products background and should have experience with a start-up. This is a 5 year old, fast growing start-up that has been very successful but lacks some infrastructure. The owner has been successful with other start ups and is looking for someone with experience to manage the small Sales division. It is likely that the company will achieve $15MM gross this year. The individual should have marketing savvy, management skills, be aggressive, goal oriented, creative, straightforward and confident. There is some travel involved; namely 3 annual NYC trade shows, an annual show in Chicago and visits to key accounts (Crate & Barrel, Saks, Whole Foods, BB&B, Discovery Channel, etc.).
