The Mailstream Solutions Sales Consultant is accountable for selling in a business-to-business environment, and responsible for solution-based sales focusing on PBDS, Mail Creation and Global Mailing Systems Inserter/Folder products. Assigned to customer accounts that have been designated as high potential prospects for solution offerings, this individual acts as a consultant to customers offering solutions for the efficient preparation and management of documents, packages, mail and other forms of messaging, in both physical and digital form.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Analyze assigned accounts - identify key applications that can be leveraged within industry segments to achieve targeted objectives
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly Mailstream Solutions revenue, and unit targets
· Keep abreast of traditional and non-traditional sources of competition; evaluates and benchmarks against competition focusing on unit placements
· Utilizes various selling techniques and marketing strategies to demonstrate to the customer how the proposed business solution will positively impact their ROI
· Assists customers in making logical decision to acquire proposed solutions
· Maintains in-depth expertise in the following: Postal knowledge, Computer Literacy, Competitive solutions and Markets, and Industry knowledge of the designated 12 vertical markets stated by Pitney Bowes
Qualifications

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

· High School diploma or GED
· Solid skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and E-mail
· A clean driving record and reliable transportation
· A minimum of two or more years of successful sales attainment
· Excellent selling skills and proven account development
· Strong interpersonal skills
· High degree of self-motivation
· Proven track record in sales or related positions
· Demonstrated skills in the principles of team – selling, client relationship management and building follow-on sales
· Strong planning and organizational skills
· Strong communication skills


Preferred

· A College degree
· A minimum of two or more years of strong customer service oriented experience
· Experience in covering major accounts and developing multiple location centralization programs
