Engineering Manager
Soundwich, Inc., a growing, Tier I, QS9000 stamping/polymer manufacturer of highly engineered proprietary thermal and acoustical products for the automotive industry has an opening for an Engineering Manager. Primary responsibilities will include leading a small engineering staff responsible for projects from design to production, including prototypes, tool design review and time/cost estimates, managing engineering department including staffing,training, planning and assigning work and act as a liaison between the customer and sales engineers. Candidate will possess a BS in Engineering, mechanical preferred, plus 5 - 10 years experience in a supervisory engineering capacity, stamping industry preferred. Job Description We are looking for an interim Chief Engineer with automotive experience, ideally in:· Stamping· Familiarity with the QS and TS quality systems· PPAP process for approving parts· The paperwork involved in responding to customer requests· The process of obtaining blueprints electronically Significant experience will be required. Job will last at least one month, but could be regular, full-time. Job needs to start on Monday, June 19th.
