Program: Women’s Re-Entry Network (WREN)
Agency: Community Re-Entry, Inc. of Lutheran Metro Ministry
WREN, a program of Community Re-Entry, Inc., provides holistic mental health, educational, peer support, and social services to women who have been involved in the criminal justice system and their families. Built upon Community Re-Entry’s mission to identify and develop the talents of those individuals with criminal justice history, as well as that of Lutheran Metro Ministry’s to work with those who are “oppressed, forgotten, and hurting”—WREN seeks to offer a welcoming environment for women where they can find the support needed to reclaim their lives and their place as valuable members of the community. Community Re-Entry seeks a DIRECTOR for the WREN program who can nurture and guide this mission.
The qualified candidate should have demonstrated ability to provide program oversight and guide program development; provide clinical supervision and evaluate practice standards; seek out and develop funding support, build collaborative partnerships, advocate for needed changes, and conduct outreach initiatives in the private and public sector; do grant-writing and reporting; provide supervision to staff, interns and volunteers; and participate in the direct care of program participants. Master’s degree in social work and LISW preferred (or related field/licensure).
