Linux / Unix Systems Administrator
The qualified candidate will have 5+ years experience providing system administration in a Linux / Unix environment. Basic script writing in Unix environment with shell and Perl, provide domain name services, set up apache web servers. The chosen individual will load and manage applications as well as provide setup, configuration, and maintenance of routers, hubs, CSU, modems and associated devices. The qualified candidate must have in depth experience with Unix Servers (RedHat Linux and Sun Solaris), NFS, DNS, e-mail systems, and FTP servers. The System Administrator will perform system and applications monitoring, system backups, manage file systems and configuration, and provide recommendations regarding systems performance.
