JOB OPPORTUNITY: CPA

Dear Pastor Guenther,
My husband and I own and operate our own Home Improvement Company and are members of Grace Church. We have been able to personally manage our own accounting up to this point, with the help of a part time bookkeeper. Our business is growing and we would to consult with an experienced CPA who can look at our accounting procedures and give us a professional evaluation. We would like his/her recommendations and advice on any improvements or upgrades we may need as our company expands. At the moment, we see this opportunity as a short term consulting situation, whereby we could negotiate a wage or even barter our services with an individual. Do you know of any CPA within Grace Church that would be interested or could recommend a colleague? NO FEAR IN THE NEW YEAR

Hi Everyone:
As we face 2009 and wonder what lies ahead, especially with all the trouble surrounding us, it is very important to stay positive and have a "No Fear" attitude. When we are on the phone or interviewing it is critical that a positive attitude be conveyed to potential employers. People hire people they like!

The attached link is an article from Jon Gordon whom I consider to be one of the best motivators for Positive Strategies and whose newsletters, books and commentaries I have followed for the past few years. Jon is a Christian but he speaks to people of all faiths. Please take some time and read his article on "No Fear in the New Year". I am sure it will inspire you as it did me.
