Grace JSN Roundtable tomorrow - Mon, 8/27 @ 7:00pm

Hi everyone,

The next Roundtable Discussion time is Monday, August 27^th  (tomorrow), 7:00 - 8:00pm, in Room 66 at Grace Church led by Todd Linderman on the JSN Ministry Team. We will continue to hold these open discussions on the Mondays between our formal meeting nights, especially during the Crossroads Career Network training schedule. The purpose of these Roundtable Discussions is to offer a time for us to come together and informally just TALK about our job search successes, challenges or to further explore the Crossroads topics as they relate to our job search and career transition experiences.

For your information, it’s a lot easier to get to Room 66 via the back entrance (it should be open). Enter through the back entrance and go straight until the hallway dead-ends. Turn right and follow the new hallway until you get to Room 66.

Note: Due to the upcoming Labor Day holiday and the Job Seekers NetWORK meeting schedule, the next Roundtable Discussion, after tomorrow, will be Monday, September 24^th.

Our next meeting is Monday, August 20th at 7PM in ROOM 21 - Jr. High at Grace Church (PLEASE NOTE THE ROOM CHANGE FOR THIS MEETING ONLY). Our special guest speaker will be Kelly Blazek from the NE Ohio Communications Job Bank and she will speak on "Job Hunting is Exactly Like Dating: Will Your Personal Style Win You an I DO?" I am looking forward seeing you and I invite you to a fun and engaging meeting with Kelly. Ever think of your job search as "Dating" your future employer?

Summer is a great time to network so don't take a vacation from your job search!

Our next meeting is tonight, August 6th at 7PM in The Chapel (Room 22) at Grace Church. Our guest speaker is Roman Pawnyk who will lead a very interactive discussion on "How to Get Noticed on LinkedIn - Profile Critiques". If you need to tune-up your LinkedIn page to get noticed by more hiring managers then this meeting is for you. Please plan to bring your Profile for discussion and reworking.
