We are hosting a Special Event this coming Monday, September 17th at 7PM in Room 22 (Lower Chapel) at Grace Church. Guest Speaker Marvin Montgomery will present "How to Sell Yourself in a Competitive Job Market". Marvin is a well-known Author, Motivational Speaker and Professional Sales Training Specialist with over 30 years of sales training experience. He will teach and inspire us to become effective managers our lives, careers and to sell ourselves for success!

Please invite anyone you know who could use a big dose of encouragement and motivation to reach higher in their lives to be all that God created us to be!

NEXT MEETING: Monday, September 10th - Back to School with Your Job Search

Hi Everyone:
Now that summer is winding down it is time to get "Back to School" with your job search. Our next meeting is Monday, September 10th at 7PM in Room 22 (Chapel) at Grace Church. I will be offering a refresher session on how to jump start your job search and get it back on track as we approach the end of the year. I invite feedback on your struggles, successes and any special search tips that you have used, and I welcome you to share them with our group.

Also, please mark your calendars for a special Grace JSN Meeting on Monday, September 17th at 7PM at Grace Church. Marvin Montgomery, a highly sought after motivational speaker will talk to our group on "How to Sell Yourself in a Competitive Job Market". Grace Church will be closed next Monday due to the New Years Holiday. Our next meeting will be Monday, January 16th at 7pm in The Chapel at Grace. Crossroads Career Network is Coming!

We are launching a new series of meetings focused on Crossroads Career Network, a Christian-based job search and career transition curriculum that is being taught in over 600 churches nationwide. Grace Job Seekers NetWORK offered Crossroads last year following our big Crossroads Workshop in February, 2010. The program was a huge success with all our job seekers!

Our next meeting is Monday, February 7th at 7PM in The Chapel at Grace Church. I will present the "Introduction to Crossroads" to get you started in the program. Please sign-up as a Crossroads Explorer on their website so you can download the Workbook and start using all the great Crossroads resources to help you land your next job.
